The top-seeded Utah Jazz will be looking to avoid going down 2-0 against the 8-seed Memphis Grizzlies in the teams’ first round playoff series when they square off on Wednesday night at Vivint Arena.
The Grizzlies took Game 1 on Sunday by a score of 112-109, but it was only that close as the Jazz mounted a furious comeback after being down by as many as 17 points in the fourth quarter only to come up short.
Utah will be welcoming Donovan Mitchell back to the court for the first time since he suffered a severely sprained ankle on April 16. He will be in the starting lineup, although it’s not clear how much he will play. Mitchell was expected to play in Game 1 before being a late scratch, which led to a good deal of controversy.
Tip time is scheduled for 8 p.m. MT and the game will air on TNT. Follow along here for in-game updates and observations.
