Utah Jazz players Joe Ingles and Donovan Mitchell shared a funny exchange on Twitter Wednesday.
Over the last 15 months following a report by The Athletic that said the relationship between Utah Jazz All-Stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert “doesn’t appear salvageable,” the word “unsalvageable” has been one commonly used by Jazz players and fans, mostly in a joking manner.
On Wednesday, team jokester Joe Ingles busted the word out again in a humorous exchange with Mitchell on Twitter. In the midafternoon, Mitchell tweeted, “Unfazed...Unbothered...Good Vibes” with the praying and spider emojis.

Just over an hour later, Ingles, who is with the Australian national team as it prepares for the Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, quote tweeted Mitchell’s tweet and wrote, “Bro, I didn’t answer your call one time. I was at practice.. relax..”
Then on a separate line, he wrote, “Unsalvageable?”

Mitchell responded a little less than three hours later with four laugh crying emojis.

Mitchell has been vacationing recently, while Ingles and the Australia team have one more game remaining — against the United States on Saturday — in the pre-Olympics exhibition event in Las Vegas that has also included Nigeria, Argentina and Spain.
Australia has already defeated Team USA once during the event, winning 91-83 on Monday.
