End of 1st quarter
Utah State 3, Washington State 0
The Aggies have gone with two quarterbacks — Logan Bonner and Andrew Peasley — in the first quarter, and it was Peasley who led Utah State’s first scoring drive. After USU went three-and-out with Bonner on its first series, Peasley led a 77-yard drive that ended with a Connor Coles 23-yard field goal.
Peasley completed 2 of 4 passes for 50 yards, including a 45-yarder to Deven Thompkins, and rushed for 31 yards on two carries on the scoring drive.
Washington State followed that up with a long drive that will result in a field-goal attempt on the first play of the second quarter.
