
The 189th Semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, and Sunday, Oct. 6, in Salt Lake City.
When is general conference?
The general sessions will take place Saturday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. MDT, and Sunday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. MDT. The women’s session is on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m. MDT.
The priesthood session will be held in April.
How to watch general conference online
All sessions of general conference will be streamed live in 31 languages on ChurchofJesusChrist.org. The Saturday and Sunday sessions will also be streamed live on YouTube.
You can also watch general conference through the Deseret News on deseret.com or on the Deseret News app, through KSL on ksl.com or on the KSL app and on BYUtv at byutv.org/watch or on the BYUtv app.
General conference talks will be available in 86 languages on ChurchofJesusChrist.org and the Gospel Library app after the conference.

How to go to general conference
How to get general conference tickets
Although tickets are complimentary, they are required to watch general conference in person in the Conference Center. Talk to your local priesthood leader to get tickets to general conference.
Seating begins 90 minutes before each session begins, and conferencegoers who have tickets are asked to be in their seats 30 minutes prior to the start of each session.
If you don’t get tickets
The line for standby seating — available on a first-come, first-served basis — forms at the north gate on Temple Square roughly two hours before each session begins.
Additional seating is available in the Salt Lake Tabernacle and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building’s Legacy Theater, as well as the Assembly Hall, where the broadcast is available only in Spanish. Tickets are not required for seating in these areas.

How to get to the Conference Center
The Conference Center is located at 60 N. Temple, Salt Lake City.
North Temple will be closed to vehicles between Main Street and West Temple starting two hours before each session of general conference.
Conferencegoers are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation to ease traffic congestion and maximize available parking. Visit rideuta.com for transit schedules and maps.
Where to park
According to a graphic from the church’s website, parking is available starting three hours before each session at the Triad Center, 95 N. 300 West; the Parking Place, 200 S. Temple No. 240; Regent Street, 55 E. 200 South; and Eagle Gate Terrace, 165 Social Hall Ave.
Disability parking is available at an above-ground parking lot on West Temple, immediately west of the Conference Center. Patrons can enter the parking lot by heading south on West Temple from 200 North.

What you can take into the Conference Center
Only umbrellas, clear water containers and small purses will be allowed inside the Conference Center. Large bags and purses, metal water containers and food and beverages are not allowed, and the Conference Center will not store any items for conferencegoers.

What to wear to general conference
Sunday dress is encouraged.
Wheelchair-accessible seating
Every building has wheelchair-accessible seating. Conferencegoers who need wheelchair-accessible seating should inform an usher when they arrive.
Are kids allowed at general conference?
Children under the age of 8 will not be admitted.

How to watch general conference on TV
General conference will also be broadcast on Dish Network on BYU-TV (Channel 9403) and DirecTV on BYU-TV (Channel 374).
Viewers in the Salt Lake area can watch conference live on KSL (Channel 5).

How to listen to general conference on the radio
General conference will be broadcast on SiriusXM (Channel 143). You can also listen online at byuradio.org and the Latter-day Saints Channel.
Listeners in the Salt Lake area can listen to conference on KSL Radio (AM 1160, FM 102.7) and KBYU (FM 89.1).
