Utah Jazz take 49-46 lead into halftime over Oklahoma City Thunder in season opener

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz find themselves leading 49-46 at halftime against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the regular-season opener for both teams Wednesday at Vivint Arena.

The Jazz ended the half on a 7-0 run after relinquishing what was once a 13-point lead.

Donovan Mitchell is pacing Utah with 10 points, four rebounds and two assists, while Royce O’Neale has nine points — he left the game late in the half injured — and Rudy Gobert has added five points and 12 rebounds.

New Jazzman Bojan Bogdanovic had seven points and a rebound in nine minutes before leaving the game after rolling his left ankle with 6:32 to play until halftime.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has 14 points to lead the Thunder.
