Murray Fire Capt. Steve Olson spins his daughter, Emma Olson, 3, at Unified Fire Authority Station No. 120 in Riverton on Tuesday after returning to Utah from fighting the Maria Fire and the Easy Fire in Ventura County, California. Forty firefighters from eight Utah departments left last Tuesday to join the efforts. The crews were to spend two weeks helping battle the blazes in California but came were able to come home early. According to officials, the Easy Fire was contained over the weekend and the Maria Fire in is nearly fully contained.
