COMMUNITY BRIEFS
The Salt Lake City Arts Council is accepting applications for performers for the Brown Bag Concert Series, which will take place in January and February 2020. The series will take place in a variety of small businesses in Salt Lake City, such as coffee shops, restaurants and bars. All music genres and ages are eligible to apply. Applicants must be 21 or older to perform in alcohol-based venues. Applications will be accepted through Dec. 13. For more information and to submit an application, visit saltlakearts.org.
Pioneer Theatre Company, 300 S. 1400 East, will host auditions for “A**” on Friday, Dec. 13. Auditions for Actors’ Equity Association members will be 10-11 a.m., followed by general auditions until noon. Auditioners can sign up in room 325 at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. All roles are available. It is recommended that auditioners bring a resume and headshot. Audition slots are three minutes. Sides will be provided at sign-up.
