Las Vegas man killed, woman critical in ATV crash in Utah

TROPIC, Garfield County — A man died and a woman was critically injured Friday in all-terrain vehicle crash in Garfield County, authorities said.

About 4:15 p.m., the man, 32, lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

The passenger, a 32-year-old woman, was flown to Dixie Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

The names of the man and woman have not been released. They both lived in Las Vegas.

“Our condolences go out to the families,” the sheriff’s office said.
