Utah has seen 190,044 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 849 total deaths as of Friday, according to the Utah Department of Health. That’s an increase of 6,142 cases from Wednesday. New cases and deaths were not reported on Thursday, a national holiday. Fifteen new deaths were reported.

- Total COVID-19 hospitalizations: 7,948
- Current COVID-19 hospitalizations: 569
- Total COVID-19 deaths: 849
- Single-day high for reported cases: 4,588 (Nov. 20)
- Single-day high for reported deaths: 26 (Nov. 25)
Recently
- Utahns can anticipate a “June or July time frame” for COVID-19 vaccines, a health official said Wednesday. Dosages will be available first for high-priority groups such as hospital staff.
Worldwide
Globally, the novel coronavirus pandemic has now infected 60,534,526 and killed 1,426,101 people as of Friday, according to the World Health Organization.
