The Utah Jazz aren’t quite done reshaping their roster with just a few days left before training camp.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski first reported on Friday afternoon that the Jazz have traded guard Rayjon Tucker and a future second-round draft pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers for cash.

The team announced the transaction a short time later.

The move is a rather minor one, as Tucker played in just 20 regular-season games in his lone campaign in Utah after getting signed at Christmas last year following strong play for the Wisconsin Herd in the NBA G-League.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Tucker averaged 3.1 points and exactly one rebound in 8.1 minutes per game for the Jazz. He also played in two playoff games.

He took the roster spot of Jeff Green, whom Utah waived at the time. The deal helps the Jazz financially as they are right near the luxury tax line.

At the same time as the deal was announced, Tucker tweeted, “Thank you @utahjazz will always have a special place in my heart”

According to ESPN’s Bobby Marks, Tucker has a $1.5 million contract for next season, of which $340,000 is guaranteed. It becomes fully guaranteed on Nov. 29 if he is not waived.

Utah now has 14 of 15 roster spots filled.
