
Utah has seen 121,485 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 625 total deaths as of Wednesday, according to the Utah Department of Health. That’s an increase of 2,110 cases from Tuesday. Five new deaths were reported.

- Total number of COVID-19 cases: 121,485
- Total reported people tested: 1,111,986
- Total COVID-19 hospitalizations: 5,755
- Current COVID-19 hospitalizations: 382
- Total COVID-19 deaths: 625
- Single-day high for reported cases: 2,292 (Oct. 30)
- Single-day high for reported deaths: 15 (Oct. 2)
Recently
- On Saturday, Utah Gov. Gary Herbert called Utah’s situation “critical” after the state reported 1,724 new cases.
- On Friday, the state smashed its record for new cases with 2,292.
- On Thursday, Utah reported 10 more deaths for the second day in a row.
Worldwide
Globally, the novel coronavirus pandemic has now infected 47,362,304 and killed 1,211,986 people as of Wednesday, according to the World Health Organization.
