The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continues to adjust temple operations based on government regulations brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The latest changes involve two temples in Mexico resuming operations and two in Brazil being paused.

The following two temples will return to Phase 1, providing living husband-and-wife sealings by appointment, after being paused:

These two temples are being paused because of local COVID-19 conditions:

  • Porto Alegre Brazil Temple

Latter-day Saint temples, which were closed on March 25, began reopening on May 11 under a four-phase approach.
