Ashley Rasmussen, Adalee Olson and Sadie Cox both ripped home runs as Manti rolled past Summit Academy for the 3A first round victory. Rasmussen finished with three RBI, while Cox, Madison Scottorn and Haylee Daniels both drove in two runs.
Carbon 11, Richfield 1
Lyndsey Madrigal went 2 for 3 with four RBIs while Gianna Bruno and Brooke Moosman both drove in two runs as Carbon cruised past Richfield for the 3A first round victory.
Grantsville 16, San Juan 0
Grantsville shutdown San Juan in four innings scoring 16 runs off 8 hits. Hillary Cloward had seven RBIs including a double and a home run. She also threw four strikeouts from the mound.
South Summit 16, Judge Memorial 1
South Summit’s Preslee Christensen threw four innings and nine strikeouts in the easy 3A first-round victory. Indee Jones had six RBIs including two home runs.
Morgan 8, Juab 6
Viana Johnson doubled home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as Morgan rallied past Juab for the 3A first round victory. Danielle Cook went 3 for 3 at the plate with a double, while Hope Woolsey and Haylee Pickrell both went 2 for 4.
Grand 16, Delta 0
Grand’s Jaci Shumway threw nine strikeout in four innings and only allowing two hits to lead Grand to the 3A first-round win. She also knocked one out of the park finishing with two RBI. Kaci Mckinney added a home run and four RBI.
Emery 12, Providence Hall 11
Emery scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally past Providence Hall for the 3A first-round victory. Janessa Weston went 3 for 4 to lead the Spartans, with Kaejha Johnson going 3 for 3 and also picking up the victory on the mound.
Union 15, North Sanpete 11
Allie Earl went 3 for 4 with two home runs, a double and seven RBI as she powered Union to the high-scoring victory over North Sanpete in the 3A first round. Malorie Bostick and London Lamb each went 3 for 5 win the victory as well.

Duchesne 15, Wayne 0
After being held in check in the first two innings, Duchesne’s bats came alive in the third and fourth inning as it pulled away for the comfortable 2A first-round win over Wayne. Lexie Young and Lexie Morlan both ripped doubles for the Eagles, with Kelsey Grant earning the victory on the mound as she struck out every batter she faced in the first three innings.
Enterprise 20, Piute 4
Brooke Humphries drove in four runs on a double and home run and Treshor Phelps added three more RBIs as Enterprise dominated Piute for 2A first-round victory in three innings.
Beaver 23, North Summit 0
Beaver dominated North Summit to roll to the 2A first round victory.
Gunnison Valley 16, UM Hillfield 1
Kennedi Knudsen doubled and triple and drove in three runs as Gunnison Valley made quick work of Utah Military Academy Hillfield with the easy 2A first-round victory.
Millard 16, Milford 1
Millard pounded out 16 runs on 18 hits to roll past Milford for the 2A first round victory in a neutral site game played at Duchesne High School. Aubree Lunt led the way at the plate going 3 for 3 with four RBIs and two doubles, with Darion Maxfield and Bryn Rasmussen also doubling twice.
Altamont 25, St. Joseph 1
Altamont scored 12 runs in the first inning and 13 more in the second inning as it rolled to the easy 2A first round win. Madison Zeeman led the Longhorns with four RBI, with Oakley Fox picking up the victory on the mound.
Parowan 19, Kanab 4
Layni Williams went 3 for 4 at the plate with four RBIs and a double, while Madison Matthews, Saydee Jensen, Kynlee Rowley and Maycee Andersen all drove in two runs as Parowan beat Kanab for the 2A first round victory.
North Sevier 18, Rowland Hall 8
North Sevier rolled past Rowland Hall to pick up the 2A first-round victory.
