Amid a wave of transfer news that didn’t go their way, the Utah Utes were finally on the good side of things Tuesday, as they received a commitment from Bostyn Holt, a wing who most recently played at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas.
Holt announced his commitment via Twitter.

Listed at 6-foot-7 and 190 pounds, Holt hails from Portland, Oregon. In two seasons at Coffeyville, he averaged 8.1 points in 22 minutes per game. In 2021, Holt started 21 of the 30 games he appeared in as Coffeyville won the National Junior College Athletic Association national championship.
In the championship game, Holt tallied a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
According to JUCO Recruiting, Holt had received scholarship offers from Idaho, Portland State, North Texas, Louisiana Tech and Iona in recent weeks.
With the addition of Holt, the Utes now have three scholarship spots open for the 2021-22 season.
