The state has its challenges, but its voting laws are designed to make casting a ballot fair and easy.
I’m grateful I live in Utah. While we have our challenges and problems, we try to take a common sense approach in solving them.
Case in point: I voted in my municipal primary election the other day, using a ballot mailed to me that I marked and mailed back. I think all eligible voters in the U.S. should be able to do the same in every election.
Unfortunately, some people in some states try to make it harder to vote when it should be easier, bringing federal attention to a process each state should be totally capable of managing fairly. When people have to look to the federal government for protection from their state government, something is really wrong. I’m glad I live in Utah.
