Scott G Winterton, Deseret News

Steve Holland heads onto Potato Hill Trail, below Traverse Ridge Road, in Draper for a mountain bike ride on Tuesday, which was expected to be the last of the extra warm days of the season as a storm moves into the area on Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday — which topped out at 77 degrees — will be last of the really warm days of the season. A storm is expected to move into the Wasatch Front area on Wednesday, bringing cooler temperatures and a chance of snow showers overnight on Wednesday. A hard-freeze warning is in effect from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 10 a.m. Friday as temperatures are expected to dip below below 28 degrees both Thursday and Friday morning. Thursday should be sunny with a night near 38. By Sunday, the high should be near 64.
